Community projects
Brechfa community has run the village stores on a voluntary basis for nearly 10 years. The shop is open from 7am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and from 7am to 1pm on a Saturday and stocks a wide range of essentials and local produce.
Brechfa community run the village playground and are in discussions with the county council about taking over the management of the public toilets in the village to prevent their closure.
Brechfa community are currently working with the county council on plans for community use of the village school following its closure by the county council in September 2012.
The local tourism cluster association have developed a website to provide lots of information on local facilities.
