To Do
Gilfach Wen is both a working farm and the venue for courses in bushcraft. We provide a Residential Forest School.
Gilfach Wen is adjacent to Brechfa Forest and Llanllwni Mountain, combined they form the ancient forest of Glyn Cothi. There are four mountain bike trails in the forest, each catering for different levels of experience. All of the 50 square miles of forest is open to walkers, horse riders and cyclists, and there is a network of public footpaths, bridleways and byways crossing Llanllwni Mountain and farmland surrounding the forest. The forest is a venue for pleasure rides and the RAC rally.
The rivers Cothi, Teifi, and Towy are all famous for the quality of the fishing.
