How to Book
Check availability of dates by Email or by telephone 01267 240077 / 07780 476737 (please be prepared to leave a message on the answerphone).
A booking form will be emailed to you, to be returned with a deposit. Provisional booking will then be confirmed on receipt of the deposit.
Payment
Deposit
A deposit of 20% of the total fee is required to confirm the booking. Payment can be made by cheque, online bank transfer or via paypal.
For bookings made less than one month before the arrival date the full payment is required on booking.
Payment methods
Bank Transfer. Please request details of the bank account for the transfer via email when enquiring about availability.
Cheque. Please send a cheque with a letter giving your name, address, telephone numbers, the dates of your booking and the size of your group to :- Gilfach Wen Barn, Gilfach Wen, Brechfa, Carmarthenshire, SA32 7QL.
Paypal allows friends to transfer money to an account for a joint purchase for free, so Paypal can be a useful way for group leaders to collect the money from each person. It also enables guests to pay via their credit card. Please inform me if you wish to pay via Paypal and I will raise invoices against an email address linked to your paypal account for the deposit and for the balance. However, Paypal charge 3.4% of the payment to businesses which accept payments via them, and this charge will be added to the invoice. There is no charge for paying via cheque or bank transfer.
Payment by credit or debit card
If you have a paypal account linked to your credit card I can send you an invoice via Paypal. I do not accept payment via credit cards either in person or over the phone.
Balance Payment
The balance of the total fee is due one month before the arrival date. Group organisers are responsible for ensuring that payment in full is recieved a minimum of a month before arrival. If the balance is not recieved when due, I reserve the right to cancel the booking.
Cancellation
I strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance with cover in case you need to cancel.
If you have to cancel your booking, I will advertise the vacancy on a number of last minute booking websites.
If I am successful in taking an alternative booking in which a refund of any payment over the 20% deposit will be made.
If it is not possible for an alternative booking to be arranged the full payment will be retained.
