Bushcraft can offer something for everyone. From survival skills, craft and practical techniques to nature observation or simply taking time to be outdoors with your family or friends.
Television programs describing how to build a shelter, forage for food, cook a meal over a camp fire, start a fire using flints or make basic tools have captured the imagination of the public. Its only when you are helped by an experienced bushcraft or foraging tutor to experience these activities that you realise how satisfying it can be to be that close to nature.
These are skills which were passed down from parent to child for centuries and remain a great way for families to share a day out in the countryside together.
Bushcraft is about being confident and comfortable in the world around us. The experienced tutors we work with can taylor each course according to the experience and ages of the participents.
